Benvitec – short for Belgian Environmental Technology – emerged from the mining industry three decades ago. We stood shoulder to shoulder deep within the mine shafts, bonded in safety and faithful to our values. Since then, we’ve been achieving things that others can only dream of as one unbreakable family. Heroism cloaked in modesty. A focus on solutions and responsibility are a survival instinct.

This DNA is embedded in the way we work and the way we think. This DNA generates a thousand volts of energy every day for a sustainable relationship with our employees, customers, and suppliers. And it is the driving force behind our conviction to make the world and society a little better.

CAFÉ De Bickel

What is a Bickel? It's a pickaxe used to cut coal from the mines. A reference to our roots, which are now buried in the same mines. But the sense of camaraderie has remained. In café De Bickel, our colleagues can enjoy good company with a snack and a drink.
