The Benvitec Cleanroom

A cleanroom is exactly what the name implies: a highly clean and controlled environment. It’s specifically designed to minimise airborne contaminants and is essential in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, microelectronics, and nanotechnology.

At Benvitec, our cleanroom is engineered to eliminate contamination – whether through the air or materials.

Clean from floor to ceiling – and everything in between

Our cleanroom principles apply just as much to our people as to the space. Our team works with protective gear such as hairnets, gloves, and cleanroom coats – all essential to ensure sterility.

That’s important, because in this space, we produce parts for bioreactors – systems where clients cultivate vaccines or develop cell and gene therapies. Cleanliness is not optional here – it’s vital.

A high-tech environment for high-stakes work

Our 140 m² cleanroom is built to ISO Class 7 standards and features an advanced air handling system that refreshes the air up to 120 times per hour. The space is fully climate-controlled for consistent working conditions.

We use it to clean, weld, assemble and package plastic components – often for medical and biotech applications, but also for broader life sciences use cases.

From workshop to cleanroom

Once we receive the technical specifications, we start with the initial operations in our workshop. The parts are then moved into the cleanroom for final finishing, cleaning, and double packaging – all under strict, controlled conditions.
